About the Chief Accountant Role:
As the Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company. You will oversee the financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial guidance to support our client's growth. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain complete financial records.
- Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to optimize financial resources.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting regulations and international accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements and reports to regulatory authorities and company management.
- Manage tax compliance, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, set clear performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Chief Accountant or in a similar senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting regulations and international accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
