We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant for our offices in Athens.
A day in the life of a General Ledger Accountant.
Your main duties will be:
- Post transactions and categorize records in the Gen Ledger (by assets, liabilities, and expenses)
- Fixed Assets accounting (Fixed Assets Register & Record keeping)
- Reconcile Bank Statements
- Balances Sheet accounts reconciliation & internal control tasks
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare documents for Audits
- Monthly Financial Reporting
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in processing or analyzing financial information

- Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Economics or another relevant field
- Proven work experience (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages (written and verbal)
- Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities, combining technical competence with a business consulting approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
