The responsibility of Group Product Management, GPM, is to balance the commercial needs with industrial solutions and steer the funding of capabilities to reach the result defined by TRATON Executive Board.
The team of Group Product Planning’s main task is to secure each Brand’s success by balancing all Brands’ requirements into common TRATON Group roadmaps. The function manages the component roadmaps and budget buckets over time, securing successful implementation of the Traton Modular System.
Our GPM office consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds and nationalities from all TRATON Group brands. We enjoy solving strategic problems cross functional and cross brand in the TRATON Group. We strive for a climate where opinions and knowledge are openly shared within and between teams and we welcome new ideas in order to create dynamic synergies.
We are looking for a new Head of EE, SW & Autonomous. In this role you will report to Head of Group Product Planning.
Together with your team, you are responsible for the TRATON Group Product Planning in the area of EE, SW & Autonomous and Connectivity. Your team consists of senior product managers who ensure that we initiate the right products at the right time and secure that they are funded in close collaboration with commercial product planning in the brands and the corresponding area within Industrial Operations.
TRATON offers this position at the TRATON office in Södertälje, Sweden, with starting date as soon as possible. This position will require some flexibility for travel and meeting the brands at their locations.
YOUR JOB
- Managing the TRATON Group roadmaps for the area of EE, SW & Autonomous and secure performance steps that enables product differentiation between the brands
- Managing the EE, SW & Autonomous bucket over time
- Driving projects from roadmap ideas to Start of Project and continues follow-up until SOP
- Managing TRATON Group Product Decision Committee (PDC) for EE & SW and participating as the GPM representative in the Autonomous decision committee (ADC)
- Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Be part of the Group Product Planning Management team
YOUR SKILLS
- You have a proven track of management and leadership experience
- You enjoy working in a complex and strategic environment dealing with both technical, commercial and financial topics. You have a broad knowledge in these fields and you act future oriented and solution based
- We expect you to have an established network within the group and act as a role model in cross brand collaboration
- As a person you are driven, self-motivated and structured with a high level of integrity
- You enjoy working in an international fast-pace environment and use your flexibility and creativity to manage various levels of challenges
- Beside excellent English skills further languages are welcome
