Chief Technical Officer (CTO) [Norway]


 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to join our company. As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in driving our technical strategy and leading our technological innovations. You will be a part of our Management team and will ensure alignment between our technical resources and our business objectives.


Key Responsibility

  • Formulate a vision and make executive decisions on how technology will be utilized within the company
  • Governs company goals and timelines for research and development
  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy for alignment with its business goals
  • Ensure that the technological resources satisfy the company’s short and long-term needs
  • Verify all technological practices adhere to regulatory standards and compliance
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies that yield a competitive advantage
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Govern quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Communicate tech strategy to partners and investors
  • Participates in key opportunities and M&A
  • Budget/reports to CEO

  • Extensive experience and excellent track record in a product software
    business, developing and delivering software applications.
  • Good technical understanding, to be able to easily understand the
    customer's needs and challenges, as well as help find and propose the
    right solutions.
  • You are a good communicator, able to build trust, and are responsive to
    the customer's needs.
  • Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process
    development and improvement, problem-solving, communication,
    delegation, and planning.
  • Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities
    and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Fully fluent in English
