One education, a leading online education provider in the UK, is seeking a skilled and motivated Freelance IQA with expertise in the field of Health and Social Care. With over half a million registered learners and as an approved centre for Awarding organisations like ATHE and NCFE, we offer a wide range of regulated qualifications across various sectors.
Position: Freelance IQA – Level 3 Health and Social Care
Location: Remote/Home based
Type: Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £35 per unit, depending on the level of the Qualification.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Relevant qualification in health and social care (Level 3 or higher) education.
- Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (e.g., IQA Level 4 Award, D34, V1/V2 Award) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in internal quality assurance within the healthcare education sector.
- Supported evidence of clinical work experience.
- Strong familiarity with healthcare education standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for maintaining educational excellence.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting rigorous internal quality assessments to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices in Healthcare education.
- Monitoring assessment processes to ensure accuracy, fairness, and validity in evaluating learners' healthcare knowledge and skills.
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to educators and assessors to continuously enhance their performance and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Holding regular standardisation activities, and preparing sampling plans for relevant qualifications.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, advancements, and emerging trends to drive continuous improvement in our healthcare courses.
- Attending internal and external meetings.
- Participating in external audits, reviews, and evaluations as required.
