We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEO Expert specializing in ranking Google My Business profiles for local businesses. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience and possess a strong understanding of search engine optimization techniques. The candidate should be able to work independently and take full responsibility for optimizing and improving the visibility of local businesses' Google My Business profiles. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities and have the ability to lead and guide a team of SEO professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to optimize Google My Business profiles for local businesses.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify relevant local search terms.
- Optimize Google My Business profiles with accurate and up-to-date information, including business descriptions, contact details, categories, and images.
- Implement on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags, headings, alt tags, and URL structure, to improve search engine visibility.
- Monitor and analyze key SEO metrics, such as website traffic, rankings, and user engagement, using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Develop and implement link building strategies to enhance the authority and credibility of Google My Business profiles.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, and ensure the implementation of industry-leading techniques.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead in the local search landscape.
- Collaborate with content creators to optimize website content for local search, ensuring it is relevant, informative, and search engine friendly.
- Train and mentor junior SEO team members, providing guidance and support in implementing effective optimization strategies.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as web development and marketing, to ensure SEO initiatives align with broader business objectives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive SEO reports, highlighting key performance metrics, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the local SEO space and propose innovative ideas to enhance rankings and visibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in SEO with a specific focus on optimizing Google My Business profiles for local businesses.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of local search engine ranking factors and algorithms.
- Experience with on-page and off-page SEO optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of technical SEO aspects, including crawlability, indexing, and site speed optimization.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve SEO issues.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and guide a team of SEO professionals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
