We are currently looking for a Piping Supervisor for our client's project in Odda, Norway. Start of the project is in June 2023.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- To ensure that all piping is properly erected and installed and prepared for precommissioning-commissioning-start-up in compliance with all applicable specifications and standards.
- Preparation of pressure test packages and Test and Inspection Plans.
- Preparation of test packages and release for testing in collaboration with QA/QC.
- Performing of Non-Destructive Testing in collaboration with the QA/QC-Manager, QA/QC Supervisor or Welding Inspector.
- Preparation of cleaning and flushing procedures and execution of cleaning and flushing
- Supervising the quantity checking.
- Checks the requirements for testing and supervises pressure tests.
- Execution check of installation versus P&ID’s and incorporation of changes
- Coordination of changes or non-conformities with the piping engineering
- Ensuring that all assigned personnel are instructed in and comply with all the aspects of the HSE policy, site security, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and client requirements
Requirements:
- Engineer with a background in Mechanical-, Piping Engineering or similar field
- Previous Piping supervisor experience in industrial projects
- Good knowledge of piping works and equipment
- Safety orientated approach to work
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
- Effective leadership and communication skills to direct and motivate team members
