Our junior procurement analysts play a key role in supporting our continued transformation programme here at Convatec.

Supporting a 12-month project the main purpose of this role is to review contracts and highlight any areas for improvement within them. You will also be involved cross functional process improvement initiatives within our global procurement function.

This is a part time role, for 20 hours a week, which can be worked on a flexible basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and examine existing contracts and business documents relating to our supplier agreements.
  • Analyse data and reports based on previous performance within the procurement function.
  • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to locate missing information and clarify information, within short time frames.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and to ensure continued success and improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to support the planning and implementation for process improvement initiatives.
  • Shares “best practices” throughout the Company and monitors initiatives for new improvement opportunities
  • Develop detailed action plans, monitor, and track progress.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


What you should bring to the role:

  • An understanding of procurement process is beneficial to this role, this could have been gained either from a professional or academic basis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, you will be looking for errors and ways to improve.
  • Knowledge of creating business cases and reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Understanding of Data analysis processes and tools

Language Skills Required

English – Fluent – Written & Spoken.

Portuguese – Fluent – written & spoken.
