General mission
The Greeter is the customer's first point of contact in the store and sets the tone for the customer's experience during their journey with us.
As a Greeter, your role is fundamental to start building a strong relationship with the customer by making sure each client is acknowledged properly and feel comfortable when entering our stores.

Main activities- Be the client’s first impression of Hermès & convey warmth, courtesy, elegance and simplicity at all times
- Greet and welcome clients as they enter and leave the store
- Manage traffic inside & outside the store by knowing at any time which team members are available, greeting clients, determining their needs, and escorting them to the appropriate sales associate (match to traffic)
- Use the proper instore tools, both material & digital, to respond to clients and manage appointments
- Maintain the welcoming area (inside and outside) in clean and tidy condition
- Work in collaboration with the security team to ensure safety of clients and staff
- Experience in a customer-facing retail environment preferably dealing with a diverse clientele
- Strong interpersonal skills,
- Exquisite sense of hospitality
- Smiling, open, friendly
- Maintains an overview on the organization and keeps calm in hectic situations
- Diplomatic and solution-oriented
- A real sense of empathy for different types of customers and situations
- Presents perfectly (grooming)
- Fluent Dutch and English.

About the entity
Hermès Benelux-Nordics is a subsidiary of Hermès International responsible for the distribution of Hermès products in Benelux and Scandinavia.
The network consists of 7 stores (Brussels, Knokke, Amsterdam P.C Hooftstraat, Amsterdam Bijenkorf, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo) and 1 concession (Luxembourg) as well as a regional headquarters in Brussels.
