The Bull Freehouse which opened in 2021 is one of the St Edmundsbury area's best local venues, serving beautifully cooked, locally sourced, seasonal produce in a relaxed, cosy space. Following our success in the local market, we have identified an opportunity to to open seven super-luxe guest bedrooms in a property located 35 yards from The Bull Freehouse, which is currently under renovation, which will be called The Pear Tree Inn.
We will be opening the property in mid July and are looking for housekeepers/front of house staff to deliver a high quality housekeeping service and provide a first class breakfast service to our discerning guests
Your role will be a hybrid role, looking after our super-luxe guesthouse and all of it's housekeeping requirements, and serving one of the best breakfasts in Bury St Edmunds to our guests
A typical day will begin around 7.30am, when you'll arrive at The Bull Freehouse, give the restaurant a tidy, and get set up for breakfast service. You'l spend the first half of your day with our guests, ensuring they receive a brilliant breakfast service, and once guests have checked out, go across to The Pear Tree Inn, and with guidance from the management team, prepare the Guesthouse for our next guests. This role would suit someone looking for a fulfilling part time role in a brilliant and dynamic team.
Person Specification:
Attention to detail is super important to us, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Excellent time management skills; as a thriving hospitality business, we are open seven days a week, with high occupancy rates, and therefore ability to manage own time effectively is essential.
Self-motivated; we don't believe in micromanaging our staf, and we trust you to meet the standards that we have here at the Pear Tree Inn! Therefore, we expect you to be self motivated, and have the ability to take the initiative when required
Experience working in a front of house role desirable, however full training will be given
Experience in a barista role would be advantageous, however full training will be given.
