The starting rate of pay range for this position is $25.35-$28.35 per hour.
Responsibilities:
The Crew Leader maintains, adjusts, and operates various pieces of labeling and production equipment. Crew Leaders trouble-shoot and repair equipment failures. Crew Leaders train and oversee employees in order to ensure production, quality, and safety goals are met. Crew Leaders develop procedures in support of training and production operations. In addition, this position works with other plant personnel in a team environment and complies with company policy, regulatory and company standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Responsibilities, job duties, major tasks performed, and percentage of time required for each)
- Safely perform a variety of skilled maintenance work and trouble shooting to
- 60% Safely perform a variety of skilled maintenance work and trouble-shooting to maintain upkeep on the various pieces labeling and production equipment.
- 20% Operate various pieces of labeling and production equipment.
- 10% Train and lead employees.
- 10% Perform other assigned duties requested by the supervisor.
- Maintain housekeeping on a continuous basis within the department.
- Assist with job placement of employees.
- Perform administration duties.

- Capable of working with a wide variety of tools.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Good oral and written communication and math skills are required.
