We at Al Sharqi Shipping Co LLC. Are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanical electrician to work on a variety of projects in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical wiring, reading and understanding electrical schematics and installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment. He or she will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical equipment in the industry, including but not limited to motors, generators, lighting, and production machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate computers of Volvo trucks.
- Calibration of brakes/gears etc.
- Maintain the AC work of Volvo trucks
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all types of electrical equipment and systems
- Automotive wiring+ low voltage Electric/electronic system troubleshooting (Mainly Volvo heavy trucks)
- Perform quality assurance tests on completed installations and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Reading/understanding electric/electronic wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems accordingly.
- Repairing automotive D/C circuit.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Respond to emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist other tradespeople when necessary
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Lift heavy objects
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Electrician license
- 1-3 years’ experience as an electrician
- Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment
- Any nationality preferred – the company will complete Visa formalities.
