Looking for a (junior) marketeer sustainability for Mortgages NL

ING embraces the ambitious goal of an economy with ‘net-zero’ greenhouse gas emissions in 2050. To reach this the Netherlands needs to speed up the sustainable transition of the Dutch housing market. As bank ING not only plays a role in financing the transition for our 600.000 mortgage customers - we want to inspire them and remove their barriers towards renovating their homes. We are looking for a marketeer (customer journey expert) to take on this exciting challenge!

Do you know what it takes to truly understand our customers’ needs and create communication that addresses these needs? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset to take it on & make it happen? Your team

In our department (tribe) Mortgages NL we work towards becoming the best mobile-led, sustainable mortgage bank of the continent. Mortgages is one of the largest tribes within ING Retail, with 60 agile teams (squads) in Amsterdam, Leeuwarden and abroad. The tribe entails all products and processes associated with getting and having a mortgage at ING. With 600.000+ customers we are one of the biggest mortgage providers in the country.

In the Sustainable Housing squad you work with 4 to 6 other customer journey experts, in an agile way. You work together with other departments such as Communication & Branding, risk parties, mortgage advisors and design teams.

Your tasks

With your squad your starting point is always our customer, the ING advisor and intermediary advisor. You capture their needs and opportunities via customer research & data analysis and translate this into content or tooling, such as e-mails, webpages and digital tooling. You always look for new ways to engage and activate our mortgage customers to become more sustainable. You create the best and differentiating customer experiences according to ING’s customer experience principles: personal, easy and smart. You always look for ways to improve conversion and learn from the data. Everything to maximize impact on our ambitious Net Zero target!

About you

You:

  • Have bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Have solid interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Possess strong writing and presentation skills
  • Are fluent in English (verbally and written) and in Dutch (verbally and written)
  • Have natural curiosity and the ability to be proactive
  • Have 2-5 years experience as (digital) marketeer or comparable
  • Have a green heart – you get excited about improving Planetary Health!
