Energy Projects and Development Manager
As an Energy Projects and Development Manager, you have the management and leadership responsibility for successful execution of assigned energy solution projects and energy efficiency projects at Fazer Lifestyle Foods factories in Finland and Sweden.

You will lead the projects throughout their all activities in the project life cycle – pre-feasibility, planning, implementing, managing project budget, needed cooperation with authorities, tracking deliverables, as well as monitoring and reporting on progress to stakeholders. You have the responsibility to point out critical decision points and propose solutions to issues. After the project phase, you are responsible for the operative operation of installations.
You also have a role to development factories utilities sector by creating and responding utility system long-term development plan considering energy efficiency and maintenance perspective.
You will report to Energy and Utility Services Senior Manager and you will be a valuable member of Shared Facility Services. In addition, you have matrix supervisors in supply chain organisations.
Position is located primary in Tingsryd, Sweden or Kouvola, Finland, or alternatively in Vantaa, Finland. In this permanent role we work in a hybrid model, while meeting colleagues on a weekly basis, and regular traveling is a prerequisite for success.

What you'll bring to the team?
To succeed in this role, you already have gained experience in investment projects, such as industrial or municipality steam or heat production projects or energy efficiency projects as well good knowledge of production/industrial processes utilities and processes themselves. Knowledge of utility systems (steam, cooling, compressed air) and experience in development and maintenance is considered an advantage.
Your proficiency is based on a degree in technical field or engineering, and you are willing to learn and develop your skills further. Excellent project management and change management skills, combined with financial understanding, strong analytical approach and strategic capabilities are needed in this position.
Your strengths include high tolerance for ambiguity, and you demonstrate initiative and tenacity completing tasks. You are ambitious and responsible, with a good drive and strong organizational and managerial skills.
You have ability to create presentations and decision-making material based on facts and negotiation skills to sell them to decisions makers and stakeholders. You communicate fluently in English and Finnish or Swedish.
