Senior Software Development Engineer - SIEGE team, SIEGE [Romania]

 

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Experience in development in the last 3 years

The Secure Ingress and Egress Team (SIEGE) owns and operates the first line of defense for Amazon's confidential customer data. We build the tools and applications that allow Earth's most customer-centric company to protect our most valuable asset - customer trust.

We build and maintain real time encryption services at Amazon scale working with security systems that bridge proxy layers, rendering applications and back-end service chains; our products impact company-wide architectures.

The team is looking for innovative, brilliant and enthusiastic Senior software development engineers who can define, design, build and operate software systems that protect our customer's sensitive data.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
