Rudd’s Fine Food in Birr, Co Offaly a meat manufacturer are looking for a number of Factory Operatives to join the company's Production team.
The Factory Operative’s role involves working on a variety of production lines and producing quality output as required. This role also involves using appropriate machinery, equipment and ensuring that the highest standards are met across the board.
We are seeking individuals who are able to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving environment where no day is the same.
The Candidate
- Respond quickly to changing process requirements.
- Have flexibility, cause & effect understanding.
- Have the ability to problem-solve production and process issues.
- Have high levels of attention to detail.
- An ability to work on own initiative.
- Interested in future development & progression.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To work to the production plan provided for the duration of the shift and fulfil orders.
- To achieve yields in production with specific attention to waste/trim.
- To minimise any downtime on the shift (label /roll changes, product change over).
· To record all relevant information in relation to all paperwork in your area.
· Ensure that you work in a safe manner and adhere to all health and safety policies.
- To maintain the area in a clean and tidy fashion.
- To record correctly all relevant information required to production and quality.
· Ensure that all machine and processes are ran efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From €11.50 per hour
