Your Tasks:
As a product manager for automated safety solutions, you will be responsible for the definition of work packages and streamlining the execution of multiple scrum team’s deliverables in the automotive perception domain within the Scaled Agile Framework. Collaborating closely with business owners and SW architects, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering an automated safety product with the Perception Agile Release Train (ART) team in close collaboration and alignment with the Solution Management and the Product Management.
- Leading, mentoring and synchronizing Value Responsibles along the value stream on team level, such the Product Owners and component architects.
- Leading the ART team in developing a product, system and future oriented growth mindset and striving to strengthen the team’s empowerment in the agile environment.
- Solving complex technical challenges and driving the development of a System that brings value to its users.
- Drive ART activities within the solution to increase the customer satisfaction. (Close collaboration with customer)
You will also have:
- Content authority for the delivery of the ART and in this regard, owning of the respective Program Backlog.
- Responsibility to handle all content related stakeholders of the Agile Release Train and to clarify requirements on a Feature Level until they are considered ready by the Value Creators of the Agile Teams.
- Authority to approve the incremental deliveries and to release a system delivery on-demand.
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related area
- 3+ years of experience in roles as a facilitator, project manager, product owner, technical leader, lead developer or equivalent
o Project leading experience for the full project lifecycle in an automotive project (from acquisition to SOP)
o Technical experience in SW development in automotive area
- 3+ years of experience in an agile development environment
o Deep understanding of SAFe agile operation and challenges in ADAS development
- 3+ years of experience in effective, collaborative, and confident working in a large-scale distributed project setup
- 5+ years of experience in working in a fast-paced or automotive environment
- 5+ years of experience eliciting, specifying, and documenting functionality and requirements using different techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, etc.)
- Multiple years of work experience in the automotive industry (OEM, tier I-II).
Nice to have:
- 2+ years of experience in a product strategy role or technical leadership
- 2+ years of experience in development of embedded systems
- Experience as individual contributor or project manager in ADAS/AD applications.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience.
