An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, supportive and hard-working Vendor Management team focused on delivering compliant and value-driven IT contract management services in IT Services. The team is always looking to mature and continuously improve what we do, and the successful individual will help us on this journey. The role will be varied, challenging and provide excellent exposure and personal development opportunities.

You will:

• Uphold vendor management governance, principles and standards including the support and coordination of contractual and vendor management activity, bringing structure, control, good practice and visibility in how we manage vendors and assets through commercial arrangements and the contract life cycle.
• Produce vendor performance metrics to advise and support Product Managers/stakeholders and to hold them accountable for the contracts in our product lead environment.
• Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues to enable the development of long-term plans for strategic IT Vendor Management.
• Drive cost management, continuous improvement and innovation throughout the function.

You will have extensive knowledge of the Contract Regulations and other relevant UK and EU legislation, an in-depth and comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of contractual arrangements, key terms and conditions and strong negotiation and influencing skills.
