You will be representing Mercedes-Benz World onsite based within the Recharge Café which is open between 09.00-17.00, and will be working 5 days out of 7.


The role will involve daily communication with clients and internal team members as well as visitors to the museum and attendees of events. A good communicator and leader is required for this role.


We currently have the exciting opportunity to join us as a Café Supervisor at our Mercedes Benz World venue.


Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the daily smooth and efficient running of the Recharge Café
  • Responsible for ensuring the Recharge Café is set up and closed down as per the standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring the POS system is up to date according to current items, prices and deals
  • Responsible for ensuring SOP’s are following by all team members and for amending SOP’s as and when required
  • Responsible for ensuring staff are trained to the correct standard and all training plans are signed off
  • Effectively manage the team to ensure service, H&S and hygiene standards are being met
  • Responsible for ensuring all stock is controlled and FIFO process is followed
  • Responsible for monthly stock take
  • Responsible for filling out the daily sales sheet
  • Deal with any issues that arise and find solutions to ensure no impact on service.
  • Responsible for ensuring young workers rules are followed.
  • Responsible for dealing with customer complaints as first point of contact and escalating to senior management where required. Following feedback reporting systems.
  • Communication with other departments onsite i.e. cleaning, maintenance, customer services, security.
  • Responsible for ordering food, beverage and disposables for the café and staff canteen.
  • Ensuring weekly deep cleans are adhered to.
  • Encouraged to provide input for the future development of the department, offering and team development
