Job Description

HR Advisor:

The role will be required to update, amend and produce new policies and toolkits, as well as support in consultation and employee relations matters. This role will support the existing People team to deliver projects and new processes and help implement them across the organisation.

  • Take the lead on refreshing the people policies and procedures.
  • Support in the production of a suite of toolkits, guides and processes to accompany the policies and support the embedding of these tools.
  • Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on various HR issues, including performance management, disciplinary, and conflict resolution.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with the organisation's objectives, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Maintain employee records, prepare HR reports, manage HR databases, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of HR activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR services and processes.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and stakeholders to develop and implement service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide HR Inductions to New starters and manage the Induction process.
  • Support employees' lifecycle process, from recruitment to termination.
  • Support the HRBP's in ER cases, change, wellbeing and performance meetings.
  • Offer first line support on employee enquiries, triaging the People inbox.

The Successful Applicant

  • HR Advisor - full life-cycle knowledge
  • CIPD level 5
  • Public sector background preferred
  • Previously worked within environments of change to support the Organisational Design and Development programme at the organisation
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Proven knowledge in employee relations including restructure, disciplinary, wellbeing,
    performance and general advice
