Role

The selected candidate will support the Digital Service Lead in implementing the Digital Business Development strategy and winning and delivering work, while strengthening the Arup digital brand in the market. They will be responsible for the development of value propositions for market sectors, presenting proposals based on existing digital products and skills:

  • Deliver a portfolio of new productised services based on the Arup d.Hub suite
  • Start with sustainable digital services for Energy clients (renewables as PV, offshore wind, hydrogen and others), then expanding into Science & Industry and Real Estate markets
  • Interact with clients for business propositions in the bidding and execution phases
  • Implement the business development of Digital services with a focus on private clients. The key markets will be Energy and Real Estate
  • Fine-tune and expand the current digital services pipeline: diversify d.Hub sub-products and find targeted solutions for new market sectors
  • Scale delivery capability in the team: pricing, products, and DevOps balance
  • Provide support to ongoing public opportunities, either in Spain or Europe
  • Work with Arup Market leaders to identify market segments for digital services and develop scalable value propositions across clients
  • Consolidate the Arup d.Hub business model
  • Put in place a structure and capabilities to scale sales and clients based on:
    • Agile team management
    • Agile go-to-market approach

Minimum requirements

  • We are open to candidates from a diverse set of backgrounds as long as they bring the right skills and fit our wider culture of exploration and excellence
  • At least 10 years of experience in the tasks described above
  • Experience using an agile methodology
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and spoke English and Spanish (additional languages of benefit)
  • Pursuit of excellence and client oriented, business vision and ability to listen and analyze
