Are you interested in freight forwarding and business, as well as building relationships? We are looking for a proactive individual with logistics experience and mainly domestic road transport. In the role of our Customer Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join our team in Bergen and build a career with a leading global company in strong growth.

Your Role

As a Customer Care Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring good customer experiences using your knowledge and expertise. Your tasks will include planning the suitable means of transport, follow-up of shipments, relationship building, problem solving and customer follow-up. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of our business unit and be responsible for optimising our transport assignments.

Your Responsibilities

  • With customer know-how solve, coordinate and organize shipments to fulfil client requirements
  • Conduct business according to client and KN expectations, budget and targets. Secure profitability of assigned shipments in cooperation with our operational team according to clients contracts
  • Have good overall logistics experience including domestic and international transport, with knowledge of import/ export terms
  • On request create freight calculations, freight budgets, client offers and organize the delivery of assignments to key clients
  • Cooperate with relevant departments of the organization to solve client assignments
  • Ensure that daily operations run smoothly and according to client’s requests
  • Follow up on shipments and deliver feedback to customers

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Preferred education: High School or Technical degree
  • Min. 2-5 years’ of professional experience from a road logistics industry or from similar position within freight forwarder/ transport industry
  • Min. 1-2 years of professional experience from oil/ gas logistics
  • Preferred 2-3 years of Project Management experience and international experience
  • Fluent Norwegian language and very good command of English language / written and spoken/
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision & computer skills
  • Good financial skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Road Log, suitable TMs system
