Hours and rate of Pay
£11.50
Morning visits daily preferably at 8 am x 7 days a week (30 mins)
An evening visit for 30 mins x 7 days a week (time tbc)
Main Duties
Personal care
Medication / monitoring health
Providing companionship and emotional support
Always Maintaining confidentiality and respect.
Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
Maintaining cleanliness / minimising the risk of falls or accidents.
Personal Assistant Specification
You will need to communicate effectively with both your elderly client and their family members.
As a care assistant for an elderly person, your primary duty is to provide compassionate and professional care that enhances their quality of life.
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
