We are currently building a team of German teachers for a part-time/contract job. You must be proficient in it and likewise be able to effectively inculcate the language into others.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual students.
- Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.
- Teaching writing and German composition classes.
- Organizing feedback sessions with students (and their parents/sponsors if applicable).
- Providing suggestions for further learning and scheduling intervention sessions with struggling students.
- Organizing fun events where students can showcase their German language skills.
- Conducting research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
- Scheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinations.
- Monitoring student's progress by writing up reports and grading assessments.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
1. Proven written and verbal proficiency in German.
2. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
5. Detail-oriented and resilient.
6. A teaching certificate or license will be required.
7. Proficiency in MS Office.
