Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join the team at our Palmerston North store working 80 hours per fortnight.
Delivery driving is 80% of the role and includes:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers and shareholders throughout CHB
- Forklift operation - loading and unloading of goods
- Frequent manual handling of heavy objects
When not delivery driving the role also includes:
- Working in store and on the yard
- Providing retail sales and customer service, and operating a point of sale (POS) system
- Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock
Working with us at Farmlands Palmerston North, you'll work with genuine people and a fantastic, loyal customer base. As the Delivery Driver, you'll have autonomy to manage your own time and opportunity to gain a Dangerous Goods endorsement.
Mōhou ake | About you
We're keen to hear from you if you have:
- A Full Class (2) Licence
- A Class (F) Endorsement and current OSH Certificate
- An affinity for or a background in the farming sector
- The ability to talk to anyone
- Retail sales or customer service skills and experience, or keen to learn
- You're physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
