We serve a large variety of end markets and our products can be found in thousands of consumer products around the world. These include Animal Nutrition, Biorefinery, Dietary Supplements, Beverage, Home Care, Microbial Control, Perfumery, Food, Personal Care, Pharma.


IFF is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Operations team as a Customer Service Representative. This position is based in Thailand and will report to the Customer Service Manager.


Your Focus



As Customer Service Representative, you will be a point of contact for customers to maintain strong business relationship with our business. You will be working closely with the all stakeholders in production, supply chain and logistics team to fulfill customers’ needs.


How You will contribute



1. Customer Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, and providing assistance in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customer requirements, address their concerns, and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate order processing, tracking, and fulfillment, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively to achieve customer satisfaction.

2. Order Management:
  • Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate any potential delays or changes to customers.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, and complaints.

3. Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and expectations.
  • Regularly engage with customers to provide updates, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities and promote additional products or services.

4. Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate customer records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Prepare reports, sales forecasts, and analyses related to customer service activities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage customer invoicing, credit checks, and account reconciliation.

Job Requirements


What you will need to be successful



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales, sales service, or a closely comparable position.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably in the food industry or related sectors, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Thai.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage customer complaints or difficult situations with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with customers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a challenging environment.
