Wasdell Group is currently looking for a full-time Hygienist to cover the night shift to undertake cleaning of all production areas ensuring a comprehensive cleaning service is provided in compliance with GMP, and Health and Safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- To observe the correct use and care of equipment reporting any defect in materials or equipment promptly.
- To empty bins and replace liners as required.
- To clean the washroom areas including the sink, floors, tables and cleaning equipment’s.
- To dispose of all food waste collected in the bins from canteen areas.
- To clean both male and female toilets ensuring any toilet rolls, urinal blocks etc. are replaced.
- To control the replenishment of any Consumables used in production such as hairnets, overshoes, gloves etc.
- To ensure cleaning is performed to the published schedule and the log book signed as evidence the cleaning has been performed.
- To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- To ensure that Health & Safety hazards, such as spills, are cleaned quickly.
- To maintain stocks of cleaning materials and equipment, reporting when minimal stock levels are reached or there are equipment problems.
- To maintain the working environment in an acceptable manner and in accordance with GMP, HACCP and Company Regulations.
- Completing any other Duties as appropriate and required.
