- Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and good housekeeping.
- Do repair work to all plant equipment.
- Do developments like lobster bends, cones, and square to round.
- Read drawings and be able to use measuring instruments.
- Arc welding.
- TIG/MIG welding.
- Welding and fabrication of mild steel plate, heavy and light structures, and pipe work.
- Welding and fabrication of stainless-steel plate and pipe work.
- Statutory checks on structures, equipment, and tools.
- Incumbent may be called upon on occasion to do any necessary task outside this scope i.e., fair instruction within his capabilities for reasonable periods.
- Fabrication and maintenance activities in the plant.
- Respond to call outs as and when required.
- Perform inspections specifically related to the applicable trade.
