Qualification
-At least 2-year experience as QA
-Strong supervisory, training, communication and interpersonal skills
-Very detail oriented
-Working knowledge of GMP and food safety regulations
-Effective organization skills
-Internal audit, HACCP certification preferred
Job Description
-Maintains the Quality Management Food Safety (QMFS) system
-Ensures the food quality and safety procedures are correctly implemented
-Issues corrective actions for ineffective implementation or violations of food safety policies
-compute formulas, percentages or production specific factors
-Perform routine inspections and quality tests, inspect production machinery and employees, to make sure the production process runs smoothly and that food is prepared according to safety regulations
-Ensure all check sheets are correctly completed and all noncompliance found have had the correct action taken
-Develop standard operating procedures that are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines
-Leads quality and food safety related audits
-Prepare reports and develop guidelines and standard practices related to food safety
-Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
