Your Role
As a data-savvy Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently collaborating with customers, internal stakeholders and company leadership to drive product success.
You will be the driver for excellence in deep customer understanding, you will lead the way to data and empathy-driven decision making. Your clear focus on customers' needs combined with market, technology and user experience insights will drive our product forward in our key markets of APAC, North America, and EMEA.
We're looking for our new Product Manager to be based anywhere in NZ, to work with our predominately Napier, Auckland, and Wellington based teams on a fixed term basis for 12-14 months.
Your Responsibilities
- Own your areas of the product from start to finish, to deliver meaningful experiences for our customers
- Improve return-on-investment on product/features, aim for a high net retention goal and increase customer satisfaction
- Be the conduit between the customer community, the market, the business and the Engineering team
- Explore, be curious, experiment, discover and measure: Run customer interviews, discovery workshops, surveys and collaborate on user testing, observations to collect qualitative and quantitative data that enables us to experience being in our customers' shoes
- Make sure our products are well fit for our local customers in our markets - drive local product adoption initiatives aligned with company strategy
- Design and manage launch activities supporting sales and marketing with the right information at the right time, collaborating on launch strategy and execution
- Ensure user adoption, user satisfaction and speed to market for new features, products based on clear success metrics - while making sure we truly learn along the way
- Track and manage product KPIs, interpret, identify opportunities, gaps and drive action throughout the company
- Enjoy being alongside a team that truly cares about customers and each other
Your Experience
- Experience in SaaS/digital/cloud products
- Deep experience in a product management role
- Proven track record of translating customer feedback and market insights into tangible outcomes to grow the business
- Demonstrated ability in being data and empathy driven
- Proven people-driven approach, while seeing the system holistically to deliver best-in-class user experiences across the customer journey
- Experience creating roadmaps driven by outcomes
