Highwater Eatery is an award winning modern Eatery & Wine Bar on lower Cuba Street.
After a busy start to 2023 we are looking to extend our trading hours to operate Tuesday to Sunday. We have multiple positions available, we offer competitive pay rates to candidates with suitable experience / ability & knowledge of the industry.

2IC Manager:
This is a full time position where you will work closely with the owners & assist with leading a small tight-nit FOH team. This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running and may be suited if you are looking to take your next step in the industry & are looking for a long-term commitment.
You will have previous experience in working FOH in Licensed Restaurants / Cafés & will be confident in negotiating a busy work environment with a positive & professional outlook. You will have a natural ability to multitask and to deliver a high level of customer service. Ideally you will have a passion & understanding of modern food and wine.
Those with a current Managers Certificate will be prioritised however this is not essential.
We provide full training & support to the right candidate.
Full / Part Time waiter/s:
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy restaurant with high standards & a strong focus on ethics / sustainable practices across our food & beverage offerings.
You will be well presented, motivated, reliable, friendly with the ability to work well with others in a busy environment. Experience in a similar role and availability to work some evenings & weekends is required.
Applicants with a basic understanding of modern food and wine are preferred, however if you show initiative & a willingness to learn, you will receive on the job training, support & regular wine tastings.
