We are looking for a talented and accomplished English & Greek speaking People Services Coordinator (Payroll Coordinator) to be responsible for providing an outstanding central support service, covering various aspects of HR and Payroll.

As a People Services Coordinator (Payroll Coordinator), your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the HR Manager in providing a high quality and proactive service, meeting corporate requirements, regarding all aspects of payroll, employee relations, benefits & HR processes
  • Responsible for entering information and maintains up to date internal central employee tool (Successfactors)
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
  • Supporting payroll activities, gathers and analyzes payroll data from start to end
  • Preparing payroll reports
  • Maintaining compliant policies and procedures for processing payroll & for HR
  • Answering general human resource questions and inquiries regarding benefits, compensation and employee relations
  • Coordinating and maintaining confidential personnel records
  • Supporting the HR Manager in ensuring that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law and practices, internal security and audit procedures, and that these practices are implemented consistently
  • Working closely with the team, in the development of a performance driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results and associate development
  • Implementing appropriate actions to raise associate satisfaction levels
  • Contribution to the business planning process and ensure Human Resources Strategy is aligned to business goals
  • Adding value in support of the Company's business objectives
  • Be able to support employees with Greek employment law queries and direct them to the Government authorities when applicable
  • Payroll/employee relations/benefits systems/process improvement & automation


To succeed in the role, you will need to have:
  • Native or Proficient Greek (C2) both verbal and written
  • Advanced level of English (at least C1) both verbal and written
  • Solid understanding and use of computer (Internet, e-mail, MS Office, Payroll platforms and systems)
  • Ability for problem solving, conflict resolution, motivation and negotiation
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Effective time management, ability to organize and prioritize, set priorities and multi-task
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress
  • Ability to coordinate tasks & a team
  • Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Greece
  • Be located in Athens, Greece

Knowledge/abilities
  • Working knowledge of the Scan or Python Epsilon Net program will be appreciated as an additional qualification
  • Accounting knowledge will be assessed as an additional qualification
  • People oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Familiarity with payroll software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Dependable, reliable and able to perform duties with minimum supervision
  • Ability to interact positively with staff at all levels


Education and experience
  • College degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology or a relevant field (preferable)
  • Previous experience in customer services is an advantage
  • Working experience with ERGANI
  • Experience with EFKA procedures
  • Knowledge of current labor and insurance legislation
