Responsibilities
Summary:
Perform warehouse storeroom duties under direction of stores Crew Leader. Safely support warehouse functions such as forklift operations, inventory, and customer service for internal and external customers. Ability to perform proficiently in Asset Suite, Outlook, and other computer programs related to warehouse duties
Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse/stores work on a daily basis by performing various activities related to the warehouse as directed.
- Assist in maintaining all store facilities in an orderly condition.
- Become familiar with stores materials and locations at the assigned center.
- Load and unload materials in their respective storerooms.
- Operates various equipment; forklift etc.
- Update inventory records on computer as directed.
- Perform inventory counts as directed
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have education and/or training in applied mathematics and the ability to learn the methods and practices used in the work group.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical capability test
- Must have the ability to learn and operate material handling equipment and computer software used in the warehouse environment.
- Must have the ability to pass and maintain forklift certification within six months of hire.
Desired:
- One (1) year experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment
- One (1) year forklift experience
- Prior heavy equipment operating experience (crane, front end loader, skid loader, etc.)
