MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina for standing and lifting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
  • Cook and assemble dishes following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed for food safety and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient workflow during busy times.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to keep the kitchen clean and safe.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and labeling of ingredients.
  • Follow established kitchen procedures and recipes for consistent food quality.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning the kitchen before and after service.
  • Perform any tasks as assigned

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
