Professional qualifications & special skills

  • Degree in hospitality & tourism or business administration or a related field
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in a hotel or tourist accommodation
  • Excellent oral and written command of Greek and English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Proficiency level)
  • Previous experience with hotel PMS software. Knowledge of Opera, Fidelio, Medallion or similar software is a prerequisite
  • Integrity, reliability, ability to provide detailed and correct reports (reporting skills)
  • Imaginative and flexible way of thinking, ability to multi-task, creativity in solving complex problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated team player with a strong team spirit.

Plus skills: Do you know a second foreign language? This is a plus!

And if you get the job? What will you have to do?

  • Compliance with company regulations and policies, quality assurance requirements based on standard and SOP's as well as Brand specifications
  • Daily management of arrivals and departures (check in, check out customers)
  • Managing telephone and/or electronic reservations
  • Entering detailed customer data in the guests’ book and/or other electronic and printed media in accordance with company policy
  • Welcome guests upon arrival, service of keys / cards and provision of details regarding the use of room facilities
  • Providing information about the hotel, the additional facilities, the use of the common areas, the available rooms, the prices, and the amenities it offers
  • Excellent maintenance of bookings and payments with diligence and responsibility
  • Management, agreement and control of day closures, accounts and POS of all departments
  • Responsible sending reports to the competent executives
  • Immediate and professional management of customer complaints (providing specific proposals and solutions, seeking solutions in collaboration with other departments or colleagues), with courtesy and positive attitude
  • Increased sales of additional hotel services (upselling).
