Position Summary:
The Cooler Mover delivers, sets up, moves and exchanges Cold Drink Equipment in customer accounts and other outlets.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Deliver, exchange and move Cold Drink Equipment
Complete daily safety vehicle reports
Load and unload Cold Drink Equipment for delivery and/or return
Communicate with dispatchers, customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick up status
Set up coolers inclusive of setting shelves, setting temperature and checking refrigeration status
Train customers on how to operate the Cold Drink Equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
HS Diploma/GED and 0 to 1 plus years of experience working in the Cold Drink Industry, construction, electrician or plumbing industry
Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Push/pull or maneuver objects up to 100 pounds
Occasional kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead or at waist
Travel up to 25%
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
