Butcher [Qatar]


 

Job Purpose:

To facilitate the cleaning and cutting of meat material for restaurant and catering use.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personal hygiene at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the butchery area all the time.
  • Perform all work orders in accordance with the Baladiya mandates. Ensures hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Coach team members, who need coaching related to skills
  • Check item quality and validity when receiving goods from the central store or internal transfers. Ensures meat, poultry, and fish are stored in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensures that portion control policy instructions are followed.
  • Abide with the instruction of the chef in charge to determine the appropriate production load.
  • Ensures that all equipment is correctly handled and maintained

Other tasks that may be assigned

Skills:

· Ability to work both in fast phase situations while maintaining high quality

· Able to work with minimum supervision

· Physical able to handle large meat sizes

· Be able to react quickly to kitchen emergencies, prevent accidents or deal with through to at least basic first aid.

Flexible in working hours

Minimum Experience: 1 Year

Required Language: English

Preferred (Muslim)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
