Chef de Partie [Indonesia]


 

A hospitality group in Nusa Lembongan, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef De Partie (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and quality set by the Restaurant
  • Coordinate with the Sous Chef and supervise junior chefs or commis
  • Estimate the daily production's needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
  • Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and food quality as well as managing kitchen operations and food costs on an ongoing basis
  • Follow good preservation standard for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature
  • Operate and maintain all department's equipments and report of malfunctioning
  • Ensure effective communication among staff by maintaining a secure and friendly work environment
  • Consult daily with the Sous Chef and Executive chef on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last-minute events
  • Assess quality control and adhere to resort service standards
  • Ensure the team maintains the cleaning program
  • Oversee and lead the rank and file team in the absence of a manager

Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication
  • Proven work experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Knowledgeable of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
  • Able to have full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
  • Able to guide and train subordinates on a daily basis
  • Able to ensure high motivation and an economical working environment
  • High-quality standards in all matters of food production
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Proven kitchen organization and time management skills
  • Work in fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rp5,000,000 - Rp5,500,000 per month
