Job Description


Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Check & respond to voicemails and emails; folio requests, investigations, etc.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable; Compile, send and address issues with invoices for catering and group events, etc.
  • Compile and invoice monthly Direct Bill clients; FITs, Intercompany, Developer, etc.
  • Regularly follows up on the collection of all accounts receivable, and reports immediately to the Finance Manager any past due balances.
  • Monitors in House PM accounts to identify those that need to be invoiced, checked out, etc.
  • Create and invoice PM accounts for outlet F&B events.
  • Assist and follow up with Front Office to close Open Folios.
  • Assist with billing related to Accor Live Limitless, the Hotel Loyalty Program.
  • Process and monitor Tax Exempt clients to ensure compliance.
  • Monitors, posts, and applies wire and check payments as applicable.
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliation and HOA needs.
  • May help prepare some month-end journal entries.
  • Assist Credit Manager in facilitating Monthly Credit Meeting.
  • Perform other various related tasks as requested by the Finance and Credit Managers.


Qualifications


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Previous experience as Accountant in a Hospitality/Residential environment
  • Understanding of Accounting principles, and competency in Opera and GFS
  • Two year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • To maintain good working relations with colleagues and other departments
  • Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the Company
