The National Library of Australia is seeking to fill a leadership role as the Assistant Director, Business Modelling and Intelligence (EL1) in the Collaboration Branch.

You will provide analysis and modelling input for a diverse range of initiatives and undertake work that is very complex and sensitive.

You will lead strategic analysis and modelling activities in support of the Collaboration Branch and Library’s strategic plans. Including:

  • Conducting advanced business analysis and modelling, including benefits realisation and performance reporting, for initiatives across the Collaboration Branch and Library program.
  • Identifying and planning continuous improvement and development opportunities for services delivered across Collaboration Branch and Library program.
  • Planning analysis and modelling activities, selecting appropriate techniques and the correct level of detail for meeting assigned objectives.

You will provide leadership and advice including:

  • Communicating analysis and modelling results to senior managers for decision and action.
  • Advising on organisational capability requirements in relation to business analysis and modelling.

You will develop and provide business intelligence, strategic advice from analysis, pricing, modelling and benefits realisation activities to inform corporate priorities.

To be successful in this important vacancy, you must identify, build and maintain excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will also build and maintain a range of networks.

You should hold qualifications or equivalent experience in business, financial management, social sciences, humanities or the arts.

To be successful in this vacant position, you should have experience and knowledge of business modelling and benefits realisation.
