Deputy Accounts Manager [Pakistan]


 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Accounts Manager in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Review and verify financial transactions, invoices, and purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording and classification of financial transactions.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital and liquidity.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial data for internal and external audits.
  • Support the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff, ensuring their understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners regarding financial matters in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: ACCA, CA, CMA
  • Proven experience (6 -7 years) working in a similar role, preferably in a corporate accounting department or public accounting firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs80,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month

  • Lahore: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
